Project Technical Engineer

What is the job of Project engineer about?
Project Engineer is a starting point for an international technical career within P&G product supply. The word “technical” in the name of the role tells a lot; technical engineer is responsible for a part of making, packing or logistic process since the first day of work at P&G. He is responsible for inventing, reapplying and developing technologies, required to support the production process of our world class consumer products, its multi-generational evolution and for managing the company's multi-million dollar capital Investments. This includes, depending on the size and complexity of the project, responsibility mainly in the following areas:
- Define and evaluate technical options for achieving business objectives
- Study technical feasibility and capital cost of proposed changes
- Prepare a design basis for the project, based on engineering studies, high end computer modelling and simulation, economic evaluations and consultations with Manufacturing, Research & Development and other contributing groups.
- Simulate, develop and supply new equipment
- Specify and conduct acceptance tests on equipment purchased from vendors
- Verify new equipment and systems, including the design and management of testing procedures based on statistical techniques
- Lead new equipment start-ups in the production plants and train the production teams
- Detail planning for the project
- Active improvement of the process
- Daily communication with local operation group and local and central engineering, Research and development organization, other P&G plants and suppliers.

The comprehensive training plan including experience from other P&G plant is set for each new manager as well as functional and corporate trainings to accelerate his/her development. A mentor – senior P&G manager – is coaching and helping new hire to succeed in his/her role. He will be given increased levels of responsibility based on your proven capability to produce outstanding results.
