Based in our Technical Center in Czech Republic (50 km west of Prague), you as an HS&E Engineer will be part of multi-functional project teams and have the following key responsibilities:
- Ensure that initiatives and projects to the CEEMEA region (Central / Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) are delivered in a safe way.
- Ensure the technical design of our multi-million dollar capital investments in the plants comply with local legal requirements and P&G's safety standards.
- Build and maintain the capability of the plant HS&E organizations to provide a safe working environment for site employees and the neighboring communities and to sustain business continuity.
You will typically start as an HS&E Engineer as part of a project delivery team (Engineers, Central and site HS&E resources). During your on-boarding time in our Technical Center in Brussels, you will follow our comprehensive training programs to prepare you for your increased level of responsibility. Your first assignment gives you the chance to immediately contribute to the business as part of the project delivery teams. While developing your professional skills, you will gradually take over the following tasks:
- For all new initiatives and product upgrades, conduct overall risk assessments and define the HS&E related scope (environmental control, process safety, technical safety, industrial hygiene & safety, fire protection).
- Define cost-effective solutions to address HS&E legal requirements as well as company standards and practices.
- Via design reviews and project input ensure that the HS&E requirements are designed in the project scope.
- Through training and qualification, build the capability of site HS&E resources so they are capable to deal with the management of the HS&E programs.
- Together with site leadership, sustain the safe working work environment for the employees and the sustainability of community relations. This is usually done by contributing to the site HS&E loss reduction efforts, action plan reviews, auditing and consultancy.
Opportunities exist for both experienced (typically 1-3 years) applicants and those starting their careers. You will be able to demonstrate leadership capability, the ability to work effectively with others, and gain practical experience while applying your HS&E engineering skills. You will be a self-starter while embarking on an international career based in Rakovnik, Czech Republic (50 km west of Prague).

Qualifications
Summary of Requirements:
- This application is open to engineering candidates from Europe, Middle East and Africa. Ideally, you may even have taken courses in safety or environmental engineering.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent initiative and ability to work effectively with others
- Good command of English is a must. Czech is an advantage
